How to Make Your Own Gooey Slime

- Mix the glue and color. Pour the entire 4-ounce bottle of glue into your mixing bowl. If you want your slime to be a specific color, add 2 or 3 drops of food coloring now and stir until the color is even.
- Add the baking soda. Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to your glue mixture. Stir it well until the baking soda is completely dissolved and the mixture looks smooth.
- Activate the slime. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution to the bowl while stirring constantly. You will notice the mixture starting to pull away from the sides of the bowl and turning into a glob.
- Knead by hand. Once the mixture becomes too thick to stir with a spoon, use your hands to pick it up. Knead the slime by stretching and folding it for about 2-3 minutes. It will start out sticky, but the more you work it, the more it will become smooth and stretchy.
