How to Make a Fizzing Lemon Volcano

1. Prepare the lemon. Ask a grown-up to slice off the bottom of the lemon so it sits flat on your tray. Then, ask them to slice off the top and use a spoon or a craft stick to mash the inside of the lemon to release the juice.
2. Add the extras. Place your lemon on the tray. Add a few drops of food coloring into the center and a squirt of dish soap. The soap helps make the bubbles extra foamy.
3. Create the eruption. Add the tablespoon of baking soda into the lemon. Use your craft stick to stir the baking soda into the juice. Watch as the reaction begins and your lemon volcano starts to fizz and bubble over.
