How to Make Stretchy Slime Without Borax
Learn how to create fun, stretchy slime using simple household ingredients like school glue and contact lens solution.
- Mix the glue and base. Pour 1/2 cup of school glue into your mixing bowl. Add the baking soda and stir until the mixture is completely smooth. If you want colored slime, add one or two drops of food coloring now and stir again.
- Add the activator. Slowly pour 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution into the glue mixture. Stir the mixture continuously. You will notice the glue starting to pull away from the sides of the bowl and turning into a clump.
- Knead the slime. Once the mixture is too thick to stir easily, take it out of the bowl. Use your hands to knead and stretch the slime on a clean surface. It might feel sticky at first, but keep working it for about 3-5 minutes until it becomes smooth and stretchy.
